FAQ
What is Webster Technique?
A specific chiropractic protocol developed for pregnant patients. It addresses sacral and pelvic mechanics that change during pregnancy, with the goal of reducing low-back and pelvic pain and supporting normal fetal positioning. Taught by the ICPA and requires specific certification. Dr. Corie holds the certification.
Is chiropractic safe during pregnancy?
For most pregnant patients, yes. Webster-certified care is specifically designed around the way the body changes during pregnancy. Standard contraindications apply (severe placenta previa, ectopic pregnancy, undiagnosed bleeding) and we screen for them.
At what age can kids start?
From birth onward. Pediatric chiropractic uses very different techniques than adult care: light pressure, sustained holds rather than thrusts, and tools or fingertips rather than high-velocity adjustments.
What pediatric cases do you see?
Infants with torticollis or feeding asymmetry, toddlers and kids with falls or sport strains, growing kids with postural concerns, and youth athletes with sport-specific injuries.
Does insurance cover it?
We're cash-pay. Prenatal and pediatric chiropractic is an IRS-qualified medical expense for HSA and FSA. We provide an itemized superbill for out-of-network reimbursement.
